My little guy turned 9 months a week ago and had his 9 month check. The pediatrician we saw (his normal is out on maternity leave) said he should not be fed at night anymore. He goes about 10-11 hours at night and wakes about half way through to eat. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to stop feeding him at night. I guess I just figured that since he does not go 10 or 11 hours without eating during the day that why should he at night? He is eating solids and has begun decreasing the ounces of breastmilk he drinks a day (exclusively pump for him). I'm not quite sure what to do. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!
