Moving across the country?

If I stay where I am now, I will be forced to choose from a VERY small number of universities in this state that offer my major. I'll probably move into a crappy apartment with my best friends, work way too hard at a job that I don't like while juggling an internship and be close to my family and friends. I'll graduate and have a hard time finding a job in-state since my major isn't very popular here, and the nearest place that it is popular in is 2 hours away. I'll be miserable because I'll be stuck here in the same small place that I've always known, but I'll be with my family and friends.
If I move 32 hours across the country, I'll be able to live alone or move into an apartment with a good friend of mine and be able to live in a big city, have new experiences, meet new people, possibly get a better job or at least have more to choose from, I'll be able to live in a nicer place, I'll be able to fulfill my dream of living in a city and traveling while I'm still young, I'll be able to go to a better university with more options to choose from, I'll be a vacation for my friends when they come visit, I'll be able to be fully independent and I'll be able to start over and fresh.
Is it worth it?
