Who has had sex b4 the 6 weeks after giving birth???

I already know your not "supposed" to so dont start with the ranting. Im asking who has and if they had any problems following?

I had sex about 3 weeks after a emergency c section. I didn't have any problems. We used protection but I still ended up getting pregnant. My kids are 10 months apart. So be very careful lol

Yes, the recommended waiting period is 6 weeks because you're at risk for all types of infections and you're super fertile. However, women have had sex before the 6 weeks and had no problems while others did. It also depends on if you had a vaginal birth or cesarean. And also if you had a vaginal birth and had to have stitches. I myself had a vaginal birth and tore both my labias and had an episiotomy. When my stitches had dissolved and I "felt comfortable" my husband and I made the stupid decision of trying at 4 weeks pp. We should've listened to the dr because it tore one of my tears back open. Didn't feel good I can tell you that. So I myself would recommend waiting the 6 weeks. Also because everyone heals differently at different speeds.

I had sex6 days after my daughter was born.. everything was fine.. though through labor I didn't need any stitches! I only bled for like 2 1/2 days.

4.5 to 5 weeks PP (after C-Section too).. I waited until the bleeding completely stopped before I did and used a condom every time... Forewarning, it may hurt and be a little dry at the start.. lube is your best friend until things are back to normal.

I did it 2 weeks after natural birth and all was fine. I probably would've done it earlier but was still peeing in the shower so didn't feel all that sexy 😉.
