That I will stay home with our daughter, we are planning to try for another one 3 months after her first birthday and I would have to go back when she turns 1 as that would be the end of my Mat leave.

I can't tell my parents ... Every time I try to bring it up my mom starts bashing the idea. Saying kids are expensive, we need to have funds for retirement etc etc. So now I feel really bad. I'll be letting her down.

We live in Canada so health care is Free and my husband has great benefits so even prescriptions and dental/eye care is covered.

When the youngest is 6 I will return to work, and I plan to take in some kids to babysit to make up for the 1200 - 1400$ I was making monthly ... Which is nothing!

I know kids are expensive but we buy second hand, cloth diaper, make our own wipes, don't have cable, are switching our cell phones to a cheaper company, buy food in bulk, I breastfeed, I'm already doing all kinds of things to save money and I just want to be with my kids.
