FTM! My baby is two days old and I decided to pump my colostrum to a bottle and bottle feed my new born? Is this ok? I know people formula feed the baby so I don't see the difference. I'm doing this for personal reason so please no harsh comments .. Also can I pump and l put the colostrum in the fridge and warm it before feeding it to her again ?

You'll need to pump more often than you would feed, to establish supply. Theres loads of exclusive expresser groups on facebook and they'll have loads of info.

Yes it's okay, and yes you can put it in the fridge to warm up later but DO NOT microwave it! Put hot water into a cup and put the bottle in the hot water for about 2 minutes to warm it up

Yes. I did it and it's fine. Both pumping, bottle feeding, and warning it up. You'll need to pump every 2 hours to increase your supply to make enough for him.
