How many woman hunt while pregnant?

I'm 24 weeks pregnant ftm and I hunt with my SO, he never lets me go alone. I have been looking for maternity camo pants but no where to find any I have out grown the camo pants I have. So my sister says well pregnant woman don't hunt this is to show her being pregnant doesn't stop us from hunting.

The noise of the gunshots can be detrimental to the baby in utero after a certain point in pregnancy when they can hear is what I've heard.. I was advised by my doctor not to go to the shooting range for this reason.

I like to go target shooting but now that I'm pregnant I don't because the sounds can damage my baby's ears. I don't want to risk it

The only thing I would be worried about is the noise and affecting baby's hearing if you are using a rifle/gun.

I was told the sounds of a gun will not affect the baby, other than maybe startling it. I was instructed not to shoot indoors to keep from breathing the fumes. I don't understand what negative effect hunting while pregnant could have on your baby.... unless you're the one being hunted!

As long as you feel up to it then I say go!!! I have 5.5 kids and when I was pregnant with all 4 of my boys I went every year... But my 5th was a bit rougher pregnancy so I didn't go last year and because this is my first back to back pregnancy I really didn't feel like going this year so I didn't. But my older boys were kinda bummed... I told them both babies will be old enough next year and since I am officially done having kids we will definitely be going next year... lol... so have fun momma!!!!

My husband got me two nice pairs of camo pants from Cabelas that have worked well with my growing belly. One I know is an under armor pair that has an elastic waistband in the back, can't remember the other brand. They're out there though! Keep doing what you love. 😘
