Trigger shot disappointment

I went in today (cd15) for my ultrasound and trigger shot. My appointment wasn't with my normal doctor, but a different one in his practice. This doctor said he thought I would ovulate on my own in 4 days and that he doesn't usually recommend mid cycle monitoring, even though I haven't been regularly ovulating even on Femara. I asked if I should make another appointment in 5 days, just to be sure, but he said no. I'm so disappointed! My husband stayed home from a guys trip this weekend just so we could do this. And I feel like I just wasted my co-pay.

I'm also a little concerned that my uterine lining was kind of thin, less than 6 mm. The doctor didn't even seem concerned about it. I'm trying to trust that he's the doctor and knows what is going on, but everything I have read says 7 mm minimum!

I know, don't stress about it. I'm just venting a little bit. My amazing husband has never lost faith that this will all work out, but after almost 4 years it's really hard for me!
