Prescription for irregular periods

I had a miscarriage in February, since then my periods gave been irregular being a week early, a week late all that. I haven't been on birth control in years and I really don't like taking it for various reasons. I tried all natural ways to see if I could balance my hormones myself (Macs, vitex and raspberry leaves) which gave me headaches. Did seem to get my period closer on time. I asked my doctor during my last pap smear if they should still be off and she said no but we can talk about it when your results come in. So I was wondering if there is any prescription that she can give me to help regulate my period without stopping contraception. I don't want to not get pregnant I just want regular periods again. Any advice is appreciated!
