So my whole life i have wanted to become a nurse. But then a year ago I was raped and shortly later I decided I wanted to become a cop. But as of the last few months I have been going back and forth on what to do. Can I have opinions on how I should decide?

For one, see if you can talk to people in both careers, especially other women. Ask about their favorite aspects of the job, what they dislike about it, challenges, areas for job growth, training, and etc.

I'm a labor and delivery nurse and I absolutely love it. It's the hardest job I have ever had. Nothing about it is easy. If you know anyone sometimes you can shadow a nurse too!

Request to do a ride along with your local police or sheriffs department. That'll help you decide if you want to be a cop or not.

I say make a list of pros and cons. Both jobs will be stressful. One will be far more risky.
