Would you stay friends if you found out they were racist

I'm a very liberal person, I accept everyone for exactly who they are. LGBTQIA, anyone of any race, gender, religion, doesn't matter. If you're a good person then I like you.

I was recently on the phone with a friend who was talking about HER STUDENTS. WHO ARE CHILDREN (8 years old) and she said exactly

"I'm so fucking sick of all these goddam Muslims"

And my heart just sank. And then she went on some hateful, bigoted rant. I still love her and she's my friend but I'm finding it hard to connect with her lately. How would you feel? Would you stay friends.
