When did your normal period start again after a cesarean?

And did your cycle return to its pre-pregnancy length & flow, or had it changed?

I only breastfed the first week our baby was born and the last 4 weeks on and off and supplemented with formula so my period came quickly. It came that fourth week postpartum. However it was great because my period was just like before! It lasted the same amount of days and the flow was the same :)

I breastfed for 8months and about the same time I stopped, I ended up getting pregnant again so I never actually got a period 😳

I breastfed and got my first period at 7 months. I had two normal periods before getting pregnant again so, they were no different then before.

I am still breastfeeding and got my first post part menstruation at 9 months.  It wasn't bad at all.  Flow and cramping were comparable to pre pregnancy.  My second period just arrived a day before it was expected to show--for a 36 day cycle which is average for me.

For me I was breastfeeding so I didn't get mine back till 7 months pp and it was evil to me I felt worse than after having my baby and bled a real lot. since than it has been different In lengths before baby it was 5 days now it's 3 or 4 days and before it was light sometimes crampy now it's very heavy and strong cramps   I haven't been getting my period at same time during each month it's been ranging from 25 to 28 days. I am almost at a year pp so still hoping it gets better but also I'm not on any birth control so not sure if that would have made a difference.

Mine was at a year because I breastfed, but it was horrible. I always had it pretty easy previously, no cramps, just 5 days or so, fairly light, but afterwards was a living hell. They were so heavy I would go through a super tampon in an hour. The cramping was bad but not crazy, but by day 3 I would just shiver non stop, I'm assuming I was becoming anemic. I had to get a diva cup because it was the longest I could go, about 2 hours. About 6 months after it came back I got pregnant, and had a miscarriage, then pregnant again and had a bad hemmorage and miscarried again. After that they returned to normal, so I'm not sure what was up with it, but it was off for sure, probably should have gotten checked out. But I've heard so many women say they horrible when they return.
