My boyfriend of a year invited me to go with his family to LA at seven in the morning, he woke me up at twelve last night to say goodnight, he called at ten am to tell me they cancelled, told me that he was going to take me out at two pm to see a movie, it's five pm and he hasn't called me to say anything about it, what should I do?

I called him on his home phone and his family had an emergency and his phone finally died.
