I just got full time at the job I've worked at for over 2 years. I've been trying to move out forever. I'd be moving out alone and I want to get an actual house or single wide. I've already looked into my options and my pay will allow me to do it starting February. How much would you save up before getting one? I could only afford a 400-500 payment on the house or single wide. I've done the apartment thing and its just not for me. I have to save around 2-3000 as a down-payment for a loan already but what's a "safe" area of extra $$$ to have before the move?
