Convenience-wise, Saturday. To save money, Friday. I think Sunday weddings are really inconvenient because of church, or people like me who like to sit around in their pjs all day Sunday lol. Mine was on a Saturday in May, at 4 PM.

Obviously the best is Saturday but saving money would be on a Friday or Sunday. I think Friday's are getting more popular due to money.

If you are planning a cheaper wedding then you could save thousands having it on a Friday vs. Saturday. We invited over 200 to our Friday evening wedding and I'd say 95% showed up!

We got married on Saturday. That way everyone here only missed one day of work and still had a 5 day work week. We had it at 3 so that the die hards could still work until 12. Some people wouldn't even take the day off and just came after for the cheap alcohol. And our relatives wouldn't have came on Sunday because that would mean taking the monday off to travel home. No matter what you can't please everyone.
