Bad boobie milk?

Question

How long does breast milk warmed to room temp out of the fridge last? I usually warm enough milk for 3 feedings at a time and keep the bottle in the insulated bottle pouch in my diaper bag. But the last time i did this i noticed the milk smelled weird like formula almost? Not a sour smell just a strong formulaesque smell. Does this mean its gone bad? The info from my dr said room temp the milk is good for up to 10 hrs is why i do this but does that only apply to fresh milk not warmed up refridgerated milk? Baby is fussy a lot and now im worried its my fault for giving him bad milk :(. Please help!

I think that may only apply to fresh milk. I could be wrong. But if it smells (and I taste test if I'm not sure) off I wouldn't use it. Then again, baby probably wouldn't have drank it if it were spoiled.

Warmed milk is only good for 1 hour and should not be placed back in fridge if there is milk left. If baby doesn't eat all within the hour then it's bad and should be thrown out or used for other purposes like milk baths

If it's been warmed up it's only good for an hour!! If it's fresh pumped, you can leave out at room temp for 4-6 hours, but it's best tasting when used within 4 hours. So yeah, don't warm up all that milk if you aren't going to use it right then, keeps it refrigerated until baby is ready to drink or it will spoil.

10 hours applies to fresh milk. Why not just warm the milk as needed. That way, you can be certain baby is getting good milk.

That's only for fresh milk. Buy a bottle warmer and keep it in your room. It takes 2 minutes to heat up the bottle
