Static electricity pregnancy symptom?

pregnancy symptom?" /> I am 11 weeks pregnant and for the past few days almost every thing I touch shocks me. I looked it up and apparently 6/10 women experience it! I can't even pet my cat anymore without making her fur stand up and shocking her poor little ears. Has this happened to any women on here?

23 weeks and I have a bad problem with this.  Especially at work.  No rugs or anything  to really cause it , but I swear EVERYTHING I touch shocks me.  It's been a sorta new thing so ill ask my doc Friday at my appointment.

I'm having static problems because it's winter and the air is dry, but I don't think it has anything to do with my pregnancy. Or maybe it does and my fiancé is also pregnant
