Periods

Who here gets really bad periods? My periods last 6 days and for the first 4 days mine are so heavy and my cramps are so bad it's hard to move and ibuprofen and Tylenol barely help!!! Did you see a doctor for this? Is it normal? I'm to a cross road of don't know what to do. I have to change my tampon every 2 hours and even then the blood comes out like a water fall. Can you comment your experience with your periods and what you do?? Be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
