Just wondering what everyone's take is on this: I don't expect my boyfriend (together for 1.5 years) to play step dad to my son. But it seems like the only time he's around him is to discipline him. My son is disabled and can't talk or walk or anything so I feel like he doesn't have a connection to him like I would wish. We do plan on getting married but I don't want to have kids with him if he will treat my son different
