Miscarrying again?

Hey ladies.

After some celebration yesterday about not having had Zika, I slowly am starting to lose hope of having my healthy pregnancy.

Today after some bowel movement (sorry if TMI,) I started having some brown discharge when I wipe. So far it's nothing that is staining my liner, but enough to speculate.

I had a miscarriage in April and just recently found out I was pregnant again. I am 5w3d today and with the brown discharge, I'm slowly but surely losing hope.

I definitely don't feel like I did with my miscarriage in April, I was so devastated and distraught that I was inconsolable- i am however feeling kinda down to think that this is happening to me again. I am 25, healthy, getting married, wanting children more than anything, and it seems like it may not happen.

How common is it to have 2 miscarriages in a row? Is there anyone on here with a medical background that could shed some light? I honestly thought that such a frequency was only for women who were a little older. I'm so young, I just don't understand :/

If you've had 2 miscarriages in a row, what kind of testing has been done and what have been your diagnoses?? If I do end up miscarrying again, I want my doctor to start all the testing to see what is wrong with me...

I have miscarried 4 times in a row. My doctors wouldn't begin testing me until after my 3rd miscarriage. They did a lot of different testing and I went into a specialist and everything came back normal. 😕 Which is good I guess but so frustrating that it seems to be happening just because.

You should look into seeing a chiropractor.. having misalignment in your spine can be a huge factor in fertility and keeping a pregnancy. I'm pregnant again for the 5th time and so far this one has lasted longer than the others and I believe its mostly because of my chiropractic care. I had a lot of misalignment in the part of my spine that deals with the reproductive system. My chiropractor took me way more seriously about my concerns with miscarriage than my regular doctors ever did (not trying to say regular doctors are bad because they can be just wonderful!). It does take time though. My two last miscarriages were after I had started chiropractic care, but I still had a lot of misalignment in my spine. 😕 but like I said, it's improved a lot since then and this pregnancy so far has lasted longer.

I had a MC in May. The doctor said that since I miscarried my first baby (your body often times doesn't know what to do) there's a 99% chance my next baby will be healthy. Don't let fear cripple you. Remain optimistic. 🙏🏼

I'm 29 and have had 2 in a row. One at 9 weeks in November and another at 9 weeks in January. Both under different circumstances but both hard to deal with. Stay positive but know that if you are unlucky enough to go through it again you are strong enough to deal with it and this little community will support you. I had 3 in a row. This is my 4 pregnancy since June last year and im now 9+5 I had brown and red bleeding at 6 weeks but all was fine. It could just be implantation. Ring your local early pregancy unit and tell them. They can monitor your bloods or do a scan to check x

Drink a  lot of water the discharge could just be because your dehydrated! I mean 4-6 bottles a day!! Stay strong try not to worry what is meant to be will be!

I had a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby who's about to turn two however I've had two consecutive miscarriages in the last 5 months. I am also very confused as of why and my doctor wasn't much help. She said to give it another try and if it happens again then we will look In to it! that broke my heart what makes her think I want to go through it again 😓

I'm on my second miscarriage right now and my doctor said it can be pretty common BUT brown discharge is usually old blood leftover. Look for bright red blood and cramping that won't go away. I hope everything works out.

I had my first mc in march at 5 w 6d and had a d&c, had a period in April and got pregnant again in April, I mc in July at 10w 2d. It was an awful feeling to have it happen for the second time in a row. My husband and I have been ttc for 3 years now. My dr said that it looked like it was just a thing and nothing health related. She never ran any testing but that if we decide to keep trying she could help us with it. At this point after having two mc in a row in one year I just don't know if I can mentally handle another heart ache. I will say that I was told that if it is brown discharge it is most likely old blood. And also at 5 weeks it could still be implantation bleeding.

Brown discharge is normal . Don't let it get you too freaked out. Call your obgyn or go to the e.r. If it helps you feel better though.
