Newborn eyes?

My son is 2 weeks old. His dad has gorgeous blue eyes. I have greenish/hazel. Did anyones babe have super dark eyes that went blue? Just curious. And know nothing about this kind of thing.

Yes both my kid's were born with dark blue eyes. My sons stayed dark blue but got lighter(he is 3)and my daughter's are still dark blue but they are getting lighter she will be 6 month's tomorrow!! I have hazel and my bf has hazel as well.
What I learned from my sons eye doctor is if you look at your babies eyes and there is a color ring around the pupil it will be the color the eyes will turn. If it is a light blue color they will stay blue, if it is a darker color it will turn a darker color.

My fiancée has blue eyes and I have brown. Our LO was born with dark eyes (which I think most babies are). He is 6 months and they still switch back and forth between blue and brown depending on the light he's in. So 6 months and still changing every day

His eyes will continue to change they won't set until 9 months to a year old. My son is a few days shy of 5 months hisgeyes still change from gray blue hazel brown and green his dad has beautiful blue eyes I have dark brown eyes.

I don't have an answer for you but my husband and I are blue eyed (along with 3 out of 4 of her grandparents). I was surprised by how dark her eyes are - they are blue, but dark blue - so dark that in pictures they almost look black! Which is funny against her fair skin and white blonde hair!! She's only 10 days old and I think I'm starting to see them lightening just a bit. It will be interesting to see how they change!
