Possible blighted ovum?

Went in last week for an ultrasound at 7 weeks 0 days expecting to see a little baby. Turns out my sac was showing a 6 week and 4 day empty sac. I was in shock and of course extremely sad to here the doctor say there is no baby. He said to wait a week to see if the baby shows up... I was still trying to process this all week. Do I have a blighted ovum? I can't enjoy anything because I'm so sad this might be happening to us. We've already had so many miscarriages and chances that are silm picks happen to our family. Please pray for us that this Friday we see our little baby. I'm very nervous and can't sleep trying to figure out what is going on.
