Normal?

Question

On average, I spend about 5 hours breastfeeding in one day. Is this a normal amount? I'm tired, frustrated, and about ready to give up.

Normal. I logged the first two weeks and my high was six hours. I was going crazy. Pumping and bottle feeding is much quicker. Probably cuts that time in half.

That sounds about right, have you tried a breast pump? I started using mine to keep better track of how much my baby was eating. I spend about 2 1/2 hours pumping a day and am producing way too much milk but it's cut feeding time in half. I still breast feed a couple of times a day.
