Hi ladies I'm expecting my first baby and I am deciding on whether to have a baby shower or not. They have never really been my idea of a good time but I have attended all my friends baby showers, I especially don't like the gift opening part I feel like it is super awkward.. Now it's my turn. I know my girlfriends will want me to have one. I am thinking that I would prefer if instead of receiving baby gifts I could ask if people wish to donate to a animal shelter that I support Would you support this idea.? Any ideas on how to tactfully word it on the invitation?
