heartburn?

I have had super bad heartburn since 4 am this morning it is now 10:30 am and I still have it I have taken tons of tums which usually helps me. Any ideas?

Omeprazole once or twice a day.

I use Mylanta and it works wonders. My OB doesn't want to prescribe me any medication because I'm already on a few (prior to pregnancy health conditions) so when Tums stopped working for me, Mylanta has been my go to. Tastes gross but boy does it help!

Tums slowly started to stop for me once it's became a daily thing so I switch to zantac n it's been working perfectly

I had the most awful heartburn when I was pregnant. It literally put me in tears every night. Zantac worked for me but took a little while to kick in. When I needed immediate relief I drank a glass of milk. I went through a lot of milk but it's the only thing that would give me instant relief.

Take Pepcid 20mg or Zantac 150mg. I have had heartburn my entire pregnancy and switch between the two. Tums do not help me at all. You could try drinking a glass of milk and see if that helps but I swear by Zantac.

I was prescribed omeprazole but didnt agree now on ranitidine and it works wonders oh the relief lol
