chlamydia

So I've been having sex with the same person for a year. Haven't had sex with anyone other than him. Ever. I decided it was time to get birth control because ya girl can't be getting pregnant. Come to find out this dude gave me chlamidia!!!! I know what you're thinking "oh that's so unfortunate but atleast it's curable" yes. You are correct. It is curable. But for a year what I thought going on in my panties was normal actually wasn't! So I called my FBW and told him he gave me chlamydia and he said "no I didn't." Boy where do you think I got it???? Then he preceeded to say "well I'm 1,000% sure I don't have it nor did I give it to you." By this point I'm literally laughing so hard because he honest to god thinks he didn't give it to me yet here I am with chlamydia from the only person I have ever messed around with, had sex with, kissed, he was my first everything and he thinks I'm lying to him. I said "listen wether you think you don't have it or whatever you need to go get tested and treated." I wasn't mad I love this guy and I do think he got it before we started having sex because he hasn't had sex with anyone but me since October 2015. He's my best friend and I'm glad I was the one to tell him but I'm still kind of pissed because who would have known this would happen to ME. I say all this to let y'all know, it is completely healthy to get regular checkups, no wait, if you are having sex, GET CHECKED REGULARLY. Get your partner tested before having sex with them to reduce the chances of catching a life altering disease. Take every precaution possible because H's don't go away.
