I started dating this guy formally a month ago. But hav had an informal thing for like 1.5month before this. 
My boyfriend and I were hanging out, and messing around NOT have sex, but haveing a little fun. Mom came home and cuaght us his pants were up, bug my shirt was off. My parents want me to quit my job. Brake up with him. Never talk to him. Deleted all social media from phone. I'm 16 turn 17 January 4th he is 17.

Hey hun! I turn 17 in February, and even that is DEFINITELY unacceptable in my house. My family has a.. history of teen pregnancies so they are very strict about sex, etc. I would say no, they aren't. You're young, it's their house, and they're just looking out for you.

Yes they are overreacting, but you can't blame them for being upset. It seems like things were leading to sex and no parent wants to find out their 16 year old is having sex.

Maybe go out to the movies together and play around with each other (not saying you should take off your shirt there... it's public LOL)but you can still make out and he can finger you or whatever you guys are into... at home, in your parents house was a bit too brave, maybe in your bedroom next time or cuddling on the couch if you really wanna be out in the open 😊 not anything that is disrespectful to your parents while you are at home 👍
