We went to the hospital Tuesday, Nov 8th, to start Group B strep antibiotics and to prepare to start our induction the next morning. I was told it would be a long labor. When I arrived I was dilated to a 1 and my cervix was still high. She was sunny side up and completely in my back. at 1:50 am I got up to pee and my water broke on its own. The contractions immediately started. I had went from a 1 to 4 on my own in 5 hours. I was checked again at 3am, I was at a 7 and in so much pain. I got the epidural and 10 minutes later It kicked in. They came in again at 6 am and I was almost at a 10. They called my doctor and by the time she got there it was time ... at 7:30 I began pushing, and to their surprise I only pushed 14 mins and my angel was here! So the doctors predictions on your how your labor is going to go aren't always correct. everything the doctor said was wrong in my case
