SoftCup Alternatives??

I've always hated using tampons, and I'm not about to face my whole period wearing pads. I've been using the Instead Softcup for a while now, but the company is having issues. Supply is low and the cost is high. The company offers a similar (and better tbh) product, but it's only available in a subscription - 8 cups for $20/month. First off, I'm gonna need more than 8/month. Second, I can't afford that?? I was buying Softcups in bulk like crazy.

To get to the point, I'm looking for your experiences with alternative period products. I've done research and all but I wanted to get some legitimate firsthand experiences. Help me out??

Diva cup. You can have it up to a whole year. Same rules apply I suppose but they aren't disposable after every time you use them or so.

How would you clean a menstural cup or empty it of blood? 
I have a sex toy cleaner but not sure if that would work to clean the cup so many questions and I am over tampons lol I'd rather have something reuseable

Thank you!!! I actually work at local health food store and we sell Diva Cups and I get an employee discount which is a huge help. And I'm all about helping the environment. I've always seen Diva Cups everywhere, but they kind of freak me out

I haven't tried a Diva Cup but that may be a good alternative. They arent disposable and it's usually $30-$40 up front. I tried soft cups and it wasn't a fun time for me, they didn't fit or stay in place. And like you said, harder to find and more costly, even though you can wear them a little longer than tampons.

Seriously invest in a diva cup. Way better for the environment and you can spend just as much for something that will last a whole year, (even longer if you take care of it) not to mention the material it is made out of is specifically made to not harbor bacteria.

Get a menstrual cup! They're like soft cups but they're reusable and they're cheaper and better for the environment. Instead of $20/month it's more like $15-30 (depending on the brand you choose) per YEAR. Some people use theirs longer if they take care of them really well. I definitely recommend looking into it.
