Baby Lucas was delivered at 40 weeks and 3 days weighing 6lbs 1 oz and measuring 18 inches. He's perfect! I was in labor for a total of 10 hours. 6:30am contractions started, nothing crazy but could definitely tell the difference between Braxton hicks. Around 9am we got to the hospital with the contractions being 4 mins apart but they weren't lasting that long, about 40 seconds. When they checked me I was only 2 centimeters one hour later it was 3. They gave me a room and an epidural at about 12:30pm and before I know it I'm being woken up to push because I'm 10cm and he's crowning. Needless to say I was in heaven with that epidural !! I was in so much pain at 5 centimeters, I don't know how I would have gotten through everything without the epidural. All in all it was a good labor and I'm blessed with a healthy baby boy. Good luck to all those November moms that still haven't gone into labor. It's going to happen!!!
