Turkey baby! (natural delivery)

My sweet baby is already one week old! So I've decided I need to share my birth story. I was set to be induced on November 25th (my birthday). But on November 23rd I was having 5 min apart contractions so I went to l&d at about 6 that night. They said I was only 2 cm and 60% effaced, so they sent me home. When I got home I couldn't eat dinner because I felt so nauseous. I took a bath to relieve some pain but I got out at around 9 pm I stood up from the bathtub and felt like my water broke but I didn't know. I labored all night in my bathtub at home until 3 am when I felt the need to push on a certain contraction I knew I had to get to the hospital. I live 45 mins from the hospital and on the way there my contractions were 2-3 mins apart so we were getting really scared! When I got to the hospital at about 4 am I was 6cm dilated and 100%effaced, they also confirmed that my water had broken earlier like I thought! I was admitted and received fluids because I was dehydrated, this dramatically slowed my contractions. However I continued dilateing, and ended up starting to push at 9am, I pushed for 49 minutes and my precious angel was born at 9:49 am weighing 7.9 lbs and 19 inches long. And born on thanksgiving and one day before my birthday! My delivery was all natural and I am so glad I was able to do it. On the way to the hospital I started to doubt myself thinking I was going to need medications or an epidural. But with the help of my mom, fiancé, and an amazing nurse I was able to endure the worst pain and be so greatful for it! I have never been so proud of myself or my babygirl, I know she worked hard too! I am so in love and greatful to God for my little angel❤️
