Constipation after egg retrieval?

Hey ladies anyone have severe constipation after egg retrieval? I'm diein in pain from not being able to go since I had my retrieval.. wasn't sure if it was just me or not. 😩

Mine was horrible!! I took milk of magnesia and it worked wonders

It could just be from all the bloating and medication that is making it slow. Especially since your ovary area is so tender, it might hurt to push.

Yes. Plus the progesterone can cause constipation. My dr told me to take 2-3 stool softeners a day to help it and it took about 3 days for some much needed relief.

Mix a spoon of chia seeds in cup of water and drink after 10 mins. It's a natural laxative plus you get iron too which is much needed after ER

I was during stims, try colace it worked well.

I was extremely constipated and they told me I couldn't take a laxative but I could take Colace and after about 3 days I was better
