Infant milk protein sensitivities?

Question

My LO has had so many tummy issues. Her pediatrician is amazing and very sensitive to our first parent questions and needs. My LO once she got home from the hospital started to have issues. Acid reflux,severe gas, lethargy, horrible bloating, and purple faced crying every night for hours.
 Now her pediatrician started her on prevacid and a hypoallergenic formula. I swear she like a brand new baby she accually smiled today.😆
Now the thing is to decide to save the frozen breast milk or get rid of it? The only way she can go back to breast milk is if the formula and new medicine dont work after a few weeks.
I didn't label any of the bags so I dont think a donation center will take it and throwing it out seems like a waste.
Any suggestions?

Check out human milk for human babies on facebook and see if there's a group for your state. My son has a lactose sensitivity, which we found out when he was 2 and a half months old. I had about 600 oz frozen, some bags labled, some not. Just post in the group and explain your situation. If you can give a time frame on when the milk was pumped, it should be no problem to find someone to donate it to. It wasn't for me. Good luck!

Sad :( Same thing for us. We're on Enfamil Neutramagin. Seriously, a lifesaver!!! Reciculous how expensive it is but worth every sent. Unfortunately, we still have pretty bad reflux but it's getting better. I saved a lil bit cuz everyone raves about the miraculous healing powers it has but I live in a hick town and saw a post about twin baby goats that lost there Momma and I offered to donate my supply and they wanted it.

I had the same question for our GI specialist.  She said most babies grow out of the dairy intolerance beginning at 6mos.  I was told to keep the milk and try to give it to my son when he's 6mos or older.

I'm not 100% because I never breastfed, but just from being on apps like this I think I heard you can do other stuff with breastmilk, right? Other than letting your LO consume it, I think maybe you can use it in baths or something? I could be way off... but that would be better than just dumping it!

If you don't drink  milk or eat dairy i wonder if ur breastmilk would be a good option. My baby was having symptoms similar to yours and i cut dairy out and she's improved

I don't know the answer but actually have a question for you- which hypoallergenic formula is she on? We are going through this with our baby boy and I think he needs a special formula too.

Just get rid of it because if baby was having a reaction to the milk it will continue if you try to give the milk. You can maybe try 1/4 breastmilk and the rest formula and see how that goes
