What other kinds tampons are good to use

I found this when I went to use one also string has some weird color to it in some spots also brand is kotex

I only buy tampax pearl and those are what i swear by. A friend let me use one of her playtex sport super tampons once but i didn't like it bc the cotton thing was wide but too short so i didn't feel 100% protected using it and the string was really thin so it was harder to take out.
