BPA free

I need to start drinking more water and I believe the only way I can do that is by carrying around a water bottle. I'm paranoid about plastic water bottles because they contain BPA. Are BPA free water bottles any different because I read that they contain chemical s that leach into the water. What kind of water bottles do you drink out of?
