"Scar for life; scar of life"
It has been 5 months since I delivered my baby girl via cesarean section. It was scheduled due to breech presentation.

While my c-section scar is still a little red and raised, I'm finally feeling comfortable with having it. In fact, I've become proud of it. I don't have a "traditional" birth story like many moms, and have even been told on several occasions how lucky I am I "never had to feel the pain of actually delivering a baby." However, my scar tells a different story, and one that will be around forever to show how much I love my daughter. A scar for life; a scar of life.
I encourage ALL mamas-- cesarean section AND vaginal mamas to show me your scars, stretch marks, post partum bods. Own it, love it, be proud! We are amazing humans!
