My best friend of over 10 years who is currently 34 weeks pregnant just told me that she eats foam sponge (like the kind one finds inside a couch). Any nurses / doctors who can enlighten me on the dangers? I'm so worried, I tried to be supportive and understanding and also explain that she needs to stop cos it may be harming the baby, she says she hasn't told her doctor or husband and that no one else knows...how do I help her ladies??
