Anyone have PCOS?

So i was recently diagnosed with PCOS. and my gyno put me on birth control starting out at 4 bc pills for the first 3 days and then 3 bc pills for the next 4 days. When she put me on the pills, i was bleeding for 8 weeks, so anyway, my gyno told me to continue to take my pills without taking the sugar pills to avoid getting a period. I'm on my third pack like i'm supposed to be since 10/28 but i am bleeding again, and have been for the last week, clots and everything. I called my gyno and she said it's going to be normal because my body is getting used to the pills. The next week i will have to be on my sugar pills and that should be when i get my period. Could this be something else? What did your doctor give you when she said you have PCOS?
