I am a very picky and particular person when it comes to picking out what I like for myself and for my home. So when I was looking for crib bedding I had three thoughts come to mind:

1. I definitely didn't want any cartoon animals or a certain "theme.

2. I definitely did not want crib bumpers. Especially because it can suffocate your baby, or they can get tangled in them.

3. Why the hell is crib bedding so god damn expensive!? I mean it costs just as much as your average queen size bedding! It's ridiculous!

So on top of Crib bedding being so expensive, you can't find any crib sets WithOut bumpers apparently unless you look on etsy or something and some of those were over $300! So I finally stumbled across a Website called Cotton Tale Designs and yes, this crib bedding was just as expensive as any other website, but I finally found a website that offered you to pick what pieces you wanted from the set, AND They had sets that I fell in love with! But when I looked at the price, I knew that my boyfriend and I were more than likely not going to be able to afford it. When I showed it to my mom, she told me "Just wait until your baby shower. Maybe you'll get enough money to buy it" and In my mind I was thinking, more than likely I won't have the money and I have to focus on the more important things like bottles, diapers, wipes, ect. Then the next day I get a text from one of my mothers life long friends telling me she e-mailed me, and that I had a gift on the way since she can't fly out to Nebraska for my baby shower. I opened my e-mail and not only did she buy me the crib bedding, she bought me the mobile along with the wall art, the lamp and the matching hamper. I haven't cried so much since my first trimester. It is amazing how kind people can be, and how wonderful it is to not be torn down everyday because of becoming a young mom. All I can say is that their are always amazing people out there that do such wonderful things and I didn't have enough words to thank her when I found out she had not only bought me that crib set but had also bought us the mobile and the decor to go with everything.❤ Below are pictures of the set and I should have them in 5-7 days.
