water breaking?

Does it break/gush only once? Or does it continue to leak after the initial gush? How long? Like, I'm wondering, if I'm in the shower/tub/pool and my water breaks, how will I know? Will it continue to trickle once I'm out of the water?

If it just leaks how do you know the difference between the fluid and the discharge? I wake up every morning soaked from discharge

First baby I went with big gush then light trickle for a little. With baby two one big gush whilst bouncing on birthing ball then small gushes every time I pushed   But my sister had a steady trickle with her first. Think it can be different for everyone

I've had both 🙈 it leaked with my first, my second it exploded in the pool when I was ready to push, my 3rd it popped in bed kind of a gush but it did continue to leak, I'm pretty sure you'd no. There's so much fluid in there x

from what I've heard, it's not the same for everyone. For me, I woke up in the middle of the night with a strong contraction. I waited for it to pass so I could get up and use the bathroom. All of a sudden, I felt a gush. It kept leaking out all the way to the hospital and even during labor it was leaking. I think you will know if it happens. Good luck to you!

Sometimes it will be one big gush, other times it'll just leak, and most of the time it won't break at all! My doctor had to break mine while I was in labor at the hospital.
