Could I have a UTI?

Question

Okay so, my vagina was really sensitive after sex, however this morning when I went to pee it burnt slightly and I had a lil bit of spotting. Would this be a UTI? I have peed since and it wasn't as bad. Also I was drinking the night before would that have something to do with it? I'm a lil unsure on what to do.

Reduce your sugar* intake, and drink a lot of low-sugar cranberry juice or take cranberry extract; that's helped me in the past. If it's a small infection, your body may be able to fight it off itself, and you can flush it out with lots of fluids (water! Not soda or acidic fruit juices!), but if it gets any worse, go to the doctors, antibiotics will help (but eat a lot of live yogurt/probiotics during and after, as antibiotics can often lead to Thrush, which is itchy AF D:)

If you get kidney pain, even slightly, go to a doctor immediately, as it means it has spread to your kidneys, and that can be quite serious.

*the infections feed on sugar, and will make everything worse. Cutting out sugar will really help.

Yes it could be a uti, there's some over the counter things you can try but if it gets and you'll need to get a prescription from your dr. Trust me don't let it get too far along. I ended up having to go to the hospital with one once because I let it get too bad and I couldn't even walk with the pain
