baby girl earrings ?!

At what age is good for a baby girl to get her earring done ? 
Is my first baby girl and I have no clue about when is the right time to do it . 
I don't want my baby get hurt . Any advice please ladies . Thanks !

I think it's best to wait until she wants to have them done.

I think the right age is when they say they want it done! But if you get them done before then, the AAP recommends waiting until she gets her first tetanus shot which should be at 2 months if you follow the typical American vaccination schedule.

I did my daughters when she was 3 months. She cried for a min then forgot what happened and fell asleep. My friend got her daughters pierced when she was 1 and she pulled them out so I say the sooner the better.

I got my daughter done at 2 months. I think it's easier when ther are young they won't remember the pain and it's less a chance they will mess with them allowing them to heal. If later they don't want them then they can Be removed

For my SIL's baby they were going to do it at one month but our jeweller said to wait until three months because the earlobes will have less chance of stretching and becoming unsymmetrical.

Your baby is going to get hurt regardless. Get them done when you want. I heard the longer you wait, the more they will feel the pain though. I'm getting my daughters ears pierced when she's 3months old.

We got our daughter's done after her second round of shots.  Be sure to call around and find somewhere that does double piercing.  Two piercer s that do it at the same time.  So much easier on baby!
