Were your twins small?

Question

I am on my 35th week and am constantly told that my twins are very small. One of them is very tiny and hovers in the 10th to 12th percentile. Did anyone have complications having a small baby? I honestly feel that it's a blessing because it will let me carry them with greater ease until they are full term.

I'm not due until March, but my last scan shows my boy/girl twins at 54&60%

They don't always get it right they got the weight of one of my twins wrong by a whole pound and a half

I have read some things about twins that says if your twins are having issues growing they won't make them stay in till term because it could actually hurt more for them to stay in longer then deliver early because there may be a problem with the delivery of nutrition from the placenta to the babies. It would just be something you have to talk to your doc about and get more info from a specialist

Mine are in the 63rd and 64th percentile at the 35 week check. Their growth has actually slowed because they were previously in the 79th and 82nd percentile. Only 9 days to go!

Update: 36 weeks and going strong. They're scoring 8 of 8 on physical. Everything looks hrakthy. At 35 weeks, baby girl was 4lbs 9oz. Baby boy has always done better. He was at 5lbs 3 oz. I think they will make their entrance on their scheduled c section date :)

I had my Di Di twins at 34 weeks 6 days because they were small. They weighed 5lb 4oz and 4lb 14oz at birth. The ultrasounds were off because it had them waiting smaller which is why I delivered early via csection. They spent about two weeks in NICU just to work on feeding. They are both home with us now and weigh over 7 pounds at a little over a month old.

The babies are still within normal range, just a bit small. 36 weeks now and it looks like we're tracking with the c-section date!

I had small twin girls delivered at 36 weeks because one of them wasnt growing much one baby was 4.2lbs other baby was 3.15lbs

I just delt with this. My twins were small the diagnose them with IUGR and I delivered at 34 weeks.
