Where should I register for my baby shower?

I live in a small town so my only options here is Wal-Mart or Kmart. Would it be rude for me to register at Target which is about 115 miles away. Or is one better to register at?  Any opinions/ suggestions wanted.

Have you considered Amazon? They can order it and have it wrapped and shipped to you, or have it shipped to themselves and wrap it for your baby shower

I did a few things at one store in my area, then amazon and buybuybaby (which is 2 hrs away)- folks can always have stuff shipped or give gift cards, those who don't do that usually ate the ones that go off-registry anyway.
