Feeling discouraged

We've been trying for our last child for 5 months now it may not seem long compared to how long some of you ladies having been trying for but for us it's a long time with our others we conceived them pretty much the first cycle of trying. I'm due AF in Thursday and I have a feeling she will arrive. I did a cheap test today which was negative. I'm starting to feel a little sad and if I'm not pregnant then I want AF to hurry and get here so we can move onto our next cycle
