Clomid/Femara

Hey!

I am currently 3 months in on Femara treatment. It is successful in making me ovulate, but no BFP yet. My doctor said I could only be treated with Femara for 6 months, then the next step is IVF. Our insurance won't help with IVF and the office is estimating 15-20k for everything involved. This will take us a few years to save up.

I know of women who have used clomid/Femara to get pregnant with baby #1 and then again to have baby #2. So clearly, after some time period, they will give it to you again.

My question is... while we're saving for IVF will they let us do another 6 months of Femara if this round doesn't work? Say, after a year or 2 of no stimulation?

My insurance covers Femara at very little cost to us.
