I've always wanted two kids close in age. My first baby is almost 18 months and I'm thinking now is the time I know sibling bonds (if they're close) are irreplaceable however I'm having a hard time because I've nannied my whole life and I've always felt closer to one of the kids than the others. I really like giving all my time and attention to one. Is it different when they're your own?

I have a 16 mths old and am pregnant with my second. I have the same fears but I think that's normal and I also think it's rarely the case that you wish you would've stuck with one when you have two. You just work it out. Your heart grows with each one. Having them so close in age means that you are less likely to be divided by different activities. Older children need different types of attention and activities than younger ones so you may feel more divided if you wait. But I'm biased of course because I'm choosing to have then close in age. Either way, you will figure it out.

I dont have more that one ywt, but friends have told me you love them all the same but do like certain ones more than other, as bad as that seems haha. Exactly why ive only ever wanted one.

I have three boys. You will be surprised how much love you have. Mine are 15,12,and 10. All 2 yrs and 2 months apart. They are close enough to get along but far enough to have their own thing when they want it. I love how close they are.

I was afraid when I became pregnant with my second child. I thought to myself how in the world would I be able to love another child as much as I love my first son. After baby was born I quickly found out it was possible. I love both my boys equally. They are so different, but the love I have for both of them are the same. It just comes so natural.

Its a lot different when they're you're own. You will love them equally. My first two are 18 months apart. I had post partum really bad after the second and found that I resented the baby sometimes just because I was a single parent and was exhausted and overwhelmed so I thought I loved my first child more but once I got through the depression, I realized that I was just noticing and appreciating the independence he had developed. I love them both the same. They are so different from each other that it's easy to find different activities for one on one time with each.
