So, I'll try to make this short. From 2014-2015 I worked at this company that was an assisted living attached to a skilled nursing facility. I spent about 8 months in the AL and my boss convinced me to get my CNA and work on the other side. The company would pay for me to take the class and I'd get a raise and qualify for benefits. Obviously, I went for it. I ended up never getting a raise and when I tried to apply for benefits they said I was listed as an ineligible team member. I kept getting payment notices from the college so I would just keep bringing them to her. About six months after I took the class I mentioned again that I was getting bills. She yelled at me until I cried and then came and got me out of a residents room to yell at me some more for nagging her. Today I went to register for my pre reqs for nursing and found out I have a finically hold from the college I took my CNA at. Meaning, she lied to me about it being taken care of and I'm going to miss the deadline to register for this semester. I am absolutely livid. Of course I expect it to get paid but I feel like that's not enough at this point. I don't know what I can do about it though. Hhhaaaallllpp!!
