To me home is where I feel safe and the place that makes my heart warm just by thinking of it. It's the place my heart aches for when I've been away for too long. No matter where I've lived, home for me has always been where my family is. Where my mom and siblings live. Everywhere else that I've lived without them has just been a house, the place where I sleep at night. I use the word home in reference to these locations, but it's never been my home.
