Anyone have a rocking bassinet that works miracles on getting baby to sleep?

My 3 day old doesn't like to be put in her bassinet... It takes forever to calm her enough to trick her into it and then she usually only sleeps a half hour or so... She won't sleep unless she is on you... Even laying down beside you and being touched by you isn't enough... BUT when we load her up in her car seat and rock it to settle her before taking her to the car she calms down right away. I'm hoping maybe a rocking bassinet would help solve our problem...? I don't want to try the rock and play - to many safety reviews against using it as a full time sleeper... So I was looking into actually rocking bassinets and hoped anyone out there might have some tips/suggestions???

We got this one. It's a glider that folds all the way flat into a bassinet. Our baby isn't here yet but I'm excited to use it when she's born.

I don't have any ideas about a rocking bassinet but my little one was like that at first too. We just kept trying to put him down, he'd get mad and we'd pick him up. He eventually got used to it. Those first couple of weeks though, he's only sleep if being held. We took turns holding him and sleeping in the recliner. For us, I don't think a rocking bassinet would have helped us, he just wanted to be held.

I have one for my son, it also has music you csn play. I put hm in it when we got back from the hospital and he hated it. 3 months later and he still hates lol. He wouldn't sleep in his swing either. Sometimes he'll sleep in his car seat before I take him to the car and every night i rock him and we co sleep. He doesn't like being alone.
