Milk storage

Is it safe to refrigerator room temp milk? For example.. say you leave pumped milk out for a feeding and it been at room temp for about an hour.. then you end up feeding at the breast instead. Can that milk thats been at room temp for an hour still be put in the refrigerator to keep it a bit longer? I'm very new to pumping and I want to be sure I have the storage stuff right.
